Well..don't hold your breath...and I'm still in favour of setting up our own WLAN using Mesh boxes.. but check this article about BT's rural ADSL plans.

Of course, depending on how cynical you are, you may feel that BT is just attempting to maintain the monopoly of ADSL provision over other broadband access methods... ;
