I too am frustrated by the lack of broadband and would like to help

Reading several articles it seems that we could club together to get a satelite link (35/month) and share it over a mesh network: that's only 3.50 a month for 10 people - less than the 13.99 I pay for unmetered access currently (OK, so you have to take the 250 LocustWorld box into account too - around 335 for two years access either way).

Is anyone doing anything at all in Hebden Bridge? If not, I know of at least 3 people who would be interested in joining such a venture.
