Birchcliffe closed next week

Not sure if other bus people know, but there are Gas works between Birchcliffe and Sandygate, I think 26th May - 1st June.
There's to be a free minibus Dodnaze to Old Town, the other bigger bus (not free) will go up the old A route up Keighley Road to Old Town /Crimsworth.
Hope I've got that right, anyway check with Metro. Be good if loads of people used the Keighley Road bus, ie up to Nutclough, Hurst, Highfield Crescent, Lees Rd, Midgehole - maybe a way to prove the need for a bus on that route.

I believe the minibus operated to serve Dodd Naze will only serve Dodd Naze, Metro's update can be found here.

Glad you checked it out with Metro site Andrew. The thing is I can't see how the minibus will get from Dodnaze to Hebden if the road is closed, flying bus, cable car/van, temporary escalator, guess it must be that small vehicles can get through still!

Maybe the minibus will just go back through Old Town and the Keighley Road? It'll only add a few minutes.
