To much traffic

Car parking charges are a good way to discourage unnecessary traffic in HB. There are many people who drive to the shops that could easily walk ( I know more than one). Those that can not walk could be given free parking passes. Also parking for say, 20 minutes could be free. HB is blighted with too much traffic, which any responsible person, of what ever political standing, should be discouraging. What are the Libs doing to discourage unnecessary car usage in the valley? It would also be interesting to hear more about the policies of the Libs on traffic calming in HB. With an accident waiting to happen it would be good if they acted before someone was killed.
