If anybody in Hebden Bridge (or West Yorkshire) wants to show that there is a different view about fuel prices than that of the Fuel Protestors, who on Friday are scheduled to start their 'Jarrow Crusade' drive to London, Friends of the Earth are organising a peaceful demonstration in Leeds on Saturday when the convoy is due to pass through. This will not be an attempt to stop their progress, but an opportunity to present an alternative message to the public and media. Of course details may change depending on the Chancellor's statement tomorrow, and the Protestors' reaction, but if you're interested in participating, please contact me.
