New Delight

Dear Robert If any of us had misgivings about your motives, I am sure they have been dismissed by your last message. I am delighted (forgive the pun) to hear that you have a campaign poster in your window after all. Thank you for supporting the general effort to keep our pub. We are all trying to pull together in this, and I hope that you will also be able to write a letter to object to a planning application for change of use when it comes. I apologise if I have given offence through my (by now) rather wary assumptions, and I promise to buy you a pint in the New Delight to make amends.
