Hi, A friend and myself are researching the life history of a guy called James Holmes. He was born in Hebden Bridge in the early 1860s; he was a weaver by trade, who became very well known in the design field, and for his technical prowess as an engineer and innovator. He was also a highly respected teacher of his craft for many years.

Are there any of his immediate descendants left in the area? Does anybody have any information they could share concerning this amazing man, please. I hope to write about him!
