Election of Trustees - Hebden Bridge Community Association

Following the Hebweb news last month (Tuesday, 15 October 2013) that the Hebden Bridge Community Association was seeking new five new trustees to take the HBCA Development Trust forward in 2014, applications have been received and nominations have gone forward from seven candidates for the five vacancies on the board. Rachel Rickards for HBCA said "the response to our request for people to come forward with experience and specific skill sets was excellent, we have attracted a high calibre of candidates and now the democratic process takes overs"

Members of the HBCA can vote for up to five candidates at the Town Hall next week. Ballot papers for the election will be available from HBCA office/reception from Monday 18th November 2013. A ballot box will be placed in reception.

Voting will take place on the days and times listed below:

Monday 18th - Friday 22nd 9am - 5pm ( + evening option 5pm - 9pm Weds 20th)

Saturday 23rd, 9am -1pm.

Monday 25th 9am - 5pm (evening option 5 - 9pm)

Due to costs, postal votes can only be sent out in exceptional circumstances, but must be returned by Mon 25th Nov. Contact Rob Elliott on Tel. 01422 417300

Votes will be counted by Jason Boom, Town Clerk on Tuesday 26th November and the results will be announced at the AGM that evening.
