Beer and Cider Festival

Thursday, 22 January 2015

The Town Hall, Hebden Bridge is holding another Beer and Cider Festival on 1, 2 and 3 May, with the Sunday coinciding with stage 3 of Tour de Yorkshire coming through Hebden Bridge. (See HebWeb News: Tour de Yorkshire).

"Our Beer & Cider Festival is unique by celebrating our very local breweries by only serving beer from Little Valley Brewery, Bridestones and Slightly Foxed", explains Amy Leader, Director of The Town Hall.  "We're extremely pleased that all three want to work with us again this year and with Tour de Yorkshire travelling through Hebden Bridge on the Sunday we can offer the cycle race visitors a mighty fine selection of local brews."

"We didn't want to leave out the cider lovers, so the Real Cider Company, a distributor based in Hebden Bridge, will be here with their choice selection of cider and perry.  Representatives from the breweries and Real Cider Company will be on hand for tasting and share their knowledge and experience.

The Town Hall Beer and Cider Festival starts on Friday evening on 1st May with a trade night, which CAMRA members are invited to.  The festival is then open to the public on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd May with pies and peas in the café and a barbeque in the riverside courtyard if the weather is up to it.  Free entry.
