Calder Valley Voices welcomes new members
Wednesday, 2 September 2015
Calder Valley Voices, the community choir based in the upper valley, has had a great summer, including some exciting performances at the National Street Choirs Festival in Whitby and a well-attended summer concert in July, which raised over £400 for the Women Centre in Halifax.
September is the start of our singing year and we'd like to welcome anyone who is interested in coming along to join in for a 'taster session' and consider membership for this term. We don't audition, so no need to worry on that score. We'll be singing new songs brought along by our Director, Carol Donaldson, as well as dusting off ones we've sung in the past.
If you are interested in joining us for the taster session (with no obligation), we are meeting on Thursday 10th September at 7.15pm in the Hebden Bridge Methodist Chapel, opposite the Co-op supermarket. You can also visit our website - to get an idea of who we are and what we sing.
