Would you like to join our ambitious team at Slow The Flow as our Events Officer?
Slow The Flow Calderdale are looking for a new member of our team to manage forthcoming events and to provide support to the management team to promote and support Natural Flood Management.
Like the rest of the Slow The Flow Management team, this a voluntary positon and you will be required to attend most of our twice monthly midweek meetings and work in your own time and with your own initiative to identify opportunities to promote the work of our volunteers and management team. You will be expected to identify groups and other organisations and make meaningful contact with them to promote our work with NFM.
The candidate should have excellent communication skills, both verbal, written and presentational, and be comfortable speaking to large groups of people. You must also be flexible and be able to work voluntarily occasional evenings and weekends.
There are no resictions as to who can apply so we welcome applications from anyone who thinks they can make a significant contribution to our work and objectives at Slow The Flow Calderdale.
