Channel 4 is looking for HB men to "makeover"

Tuesday, November 25, 2003

The makers of Faking It and Perfect Match are creating a new series for Channel 4 TV and they have contacted the Hebden Bridge Web to look for Hebden Bridge couples to take part - "lively and outgoing people who are ready for a challenge!"

The aim of the show is to give women the chance to transform the men they live with - two experts stepping in to turn them "from frogs to princes".

As far as the men go, they're looking for anything - slobs, sloths, men who've stopped washing their hair or brushing their teeth, football lads who've forgotten what a woman is, old rockers who haven't noticed they're not 19 anymore.... basically any kind of man who could use a bit of a turnaround.

They are also hoping to find 2 couples who are friends, so that they can have two guys going through the make over together. "It should make it even more fun to be involved in and more fun to watch," they told the Hebden Bridge Web.

Once we have chosen our couples we will spend a week filming in their local area. They are targeting Hebden Bridge basically because "it looks interesting (!) and seems to have a strong community feel."

If you would like to be part of the show or if you've got any questions please email Iona or call her on 020 7013 4541 or 07779097048.
