Women science graduates wanted for dissertation

Wednesday, April 20, 2005

Are you a women chemistry or physics graduate?

Did you get a good degree and could have gone on in science,
but instead chose to do something else?

If so, you could help Kath Tansey.

Kath is seeking women subjects to interview for dissertation. As part of a postgraduate MA in Gender Studies and History and Philosophy of Science at Leeds University, Kath Tansey is seeking women graduates in physical sciences (eg chemistry and physics) who got good degrees and might have continued into scientific research but who went instead in other directions. She is researching why women don't stay in science. If you are interested or want further information, contact her at igs4kt@leeds.ac.uk
