'Real Lives' (ITV1) seeks gay parents

'Real Lives' (ITV1) will be aired each weekday at lunchtime starting mid November 2006. Each programme will be made up of three separate features that relate to real life issues from real people across the UK.

Hosted by Vanessa Feltz, they will be featuring stories of real people. Stories of warring families will not be a part of our programme. The show is aimed at our predominantly female audience and issues will be dealt with in an intelligent and sensitive way.

On the 8th September they will be discussing 'Do Kids Need Dads?'. We are talking to a lady with 16 year old son that was conceived via a donor. She has happily brought her son up alone.

We also have two other guests - one that says she wouldn't want to have children without Mr Right and a dad who says he thinks his son went off the rails because he was working too much and didn't have enough time with him. To balance the discussion we are urgently looking for a gay couple in the Hebden Bridge area who are bringing up / planning to bring up or have already brought up a child.
