Part Time Project Officer

An enthusiastic individual, able to work on their own initiative is required to develop and provide leadership on regeneration and community projects in Hebden Royd.
The successful applicant will have a degree or equivalent experience relevant to the post requirements with a minimum of three years working with regeneration projects. The post holder must be able to work to deadlines, demonstrate an understanding of economic regeneration, including development of public art, and sourcing funding for innovative schemes. Project management, together with sound analytical and good oral/written communication skills are essential for this position which requires a proactive approach to working with funding bodies, businesses, members of the public and the Council. Occasional evening and weekend working will be required for which time off in lieu can be taken.
