Ms Mccafferty reaffirmed her support for the war, and tried to answer her many critics. The discussion was chaired by David Scott, headteacher of Calder High School and was generally good-natured, interesting and at times, impassioned. A show of hands showed that all but 3 or 4 in the room were against the current military action. Sunday, December 9, 2001 |
