I'm currently applying for membership of the Cooperative Society.
The most humbling part of the process is the drop-down title options on the application form ( ). Given all those exalted titles (Admiral, Wing Commander, Laird, Prebendary, Cardinal etc etc) , one definitely feels a bit sub-standard just being a plain 'Mr'.
I wonder how many Archbishops they have on their books....
