Moving to the area
Posted by Michael O'Connell, Wednesday, January 9, 2002I'm planning on moving to the area and really like what I know of Hebden Bridge. It seems like a great place to live. Can anyone give me information which would help me to decide on HB or not. I'll need to find a house (areas to look that are quiet?), a school for my son (what are the local schools like?) and my wife, who is a social worker, will be looking for work locally either in the Voluntary or statutory sectors. The HB site gives so much information and creates a great feel for the place. I'm trying to find to find out the 'small' bits of information that might help to make the decisions a little easier. It can be daunting moving to a new area. We're coming uo this weekend for another visit. Help!
p.s. are the traffic problems really bad in HB and do they last through the day or rush hours etc? Thanks
