Postal Vote Applications and Calder Valley Bye-Election

Posted by Craig Whittaker, Conservative Candidate for Calder Valley, Monday, November 4, 2002

I write to remind voters of the Calder Valley Ward, about the local bye-election coming up on December the 5th, 2002. I do this as I feel it's important for people to vote, so that we can have a true democratic representation on council to represent the Calder Valley Ward. Every Voter who doesn't fancy or is unable to go to a Polling Station to vote on the day, can apply for a Postal Vote. This process is quite simple - You just fill out a Postal Vote Application and send it back to the Town Hall. You will then be sent your ballot paper by post - Cast your vote, then send it back. Postal Vote Applications are available from the Town Hall or please feel free to contact me direct on either craig@bracewellhallbarn.com, phone 07984 717282 or write to me at Bracewell Hall Barn, Blackshaw Head, Hebden Bridge, HX7 7JP.
