No, it's wrong to say it's only the US we should be concerned about. We should not be sympathetic to those who oppose the world's only superpower simply on the grounds that they oppose them, particularly if their own views are reactionary, as those of Fundamentalist Islam clearly are. Anyway, we should know why we support someone against someone else, and the degree to which we can lend support to them, if we seriously mean to help. It's also a good idea to be clear about what we are trying to protect/ espouse before opposing anyone. The left (and liberals) do not have a good historical record on this one (cf. Uncle Joe)

However, I do agree that the uses of the words 'black' and 'white'are extremely suspect in this context.
