Cricket Festival Time Again!!

June 7th sees the fourth annual Cricket Festival at Salem Fields, hosted by Hebden Bridge Cricket Club in association with Zion Housing Co-op. True to form, the day promises top quality cricket from the local team, who will be playing cool customers West End from Halifax. The game will be accompanied by music between the overs and commentary from special guests. Cricket teas will be available all afternoon and the match starts at 2pm.

The charge for the whole day's entertainment is 3 - come early and make the most of it. All paying guests will be members of the club for the day and entitled to use the bar tent - make sure you get your hand stamped!

Come 6 o'clock there will be hot food from the barbecue and fine curries from the Prince of Pots. Live music will start at about 7pm, with locals The Landing Party, Q-car and the Wild Panzis plus other bands yet to be confirmed. This year's festival will culminate in a fire and firework show and end at approximately midnight.
