Wainsgate Open Day

The Wainsgate Baptist Church, now owned by a charity, The Historic Chapels Trust, is having an Open Day on Saturday 24th June, 2pm to 5pm.

There will be a chance to look round this fascinating galleried chapel, and the adjoining old schoolrooms and community rooms and burial ground.

There will be a display by Hebden Bridge Local History Society, Wadsworth Environment group, and The Steiner School.

You will be able to admire and learn about Gongfusion's amazing instruments.

Ther will be a bric-a-brac stall, cake stall and raffle and will be serving teas.

Disabled parking only by the chapel, access up two steps to ground floor, steep stairs to upper floor.

Children welcome with adult supervision.

Please take the bus to Old Town or walk, there is limited parking in the village.
