Having recently been in the awkward position of trying to support a physically challenged friend with a 'bad cough' I have wondered how to avoid 'dangerous' symptoms.

Currently it appears to be almost impossible to distinguish between a general outbreak of coughing /flu-like symptoms in the valley and Covid. Anecdotally friends have said they didn't test positive but still had bad symptoms.
