Autumn Clean Up

Saturday 17th November 2007.

Hebden Royd Town Council have contacted the Hebden Bridge Web to say that as part of their commitment to clean up and improve the local environmental quality of our area the autumn clean up will take place 17th November.

Six skips will also be placed on Dodnaze, Eaves, Fairfield Estates and the bottom of Windsor Road in Hebden Bridge and Nest and Banksfield Estates in Mytholmroyd.

Funded by the Safer Communities Partnership whose moto is ‘Cleaner, Greener, Safer’, they are there for all to residents to use. In addition free pick ups are available for bulky household goods through Calderdale Customer First, 0845 245 6000 free of charge.

'This is a win/win for all involved' said Jason Boom, Environmental Community Warden for Hebden Royd. 'This is an opportunity to directly influence your environment, just picking up that sweet wrapper or empty drink can you would usually step over really does make a difference. Help us make Hebden Royd an even more attractive place to live.’
