Update: Jason Boom, Environmental Community Warden has now told the Hebden Bridge Web that the Hebden Water debris at Salem has now been cleared up. Thanks to the help of Geoff, a local land owner and John, the chairman of the Cricket club it was all off site by 1pm yesterday.
Jason adds "During the removal of the debris a gentleman called Jack came up and claimed the tractor tyre. It was a pity he was only 2 and had no means of transport."

Matthew Salisbury has sent us these photos of the Hebden Water at Salem near the cricket ground which he says has become "a dumping ground", pointing out that this area is enjoyed by so many people including children and walkers, locals and tourists.
And below are pictures of the cricket club roller in the Hebden Water from our page reporting cricket events.
