Calder Valley Voices is a community choir based in Hebden Bridge. We are open to everyone. We never audition and we believe everyone can sing. We sing a very diverse range of music, from the Internationale to Abba, but most songs have the theme of peace and justice. We perform locally and nationally with other community choirs.

Four people overlook the canal: a resident of Hebden Bridge; a thirty-something scene-queen; a prostitute; and a man 200 years ago, before the canal is yet built. Trade is a powerful, moving and disturbing piece which explores the impact of time and trade on history, and on individual lives.
