Floods nearly three years on - prepare for winter weather: Almost three years since the flooding in our area on Boxing Day 2015, Calderdale Council and its partners are reminding people of the importance of being prepared as well as highlighting the work already done to improve flood resilience. Community toilet scheme launches in Mytholmroyd. The public toilets in Mytholmroyd have been demolished. While options for toilet provision elsewhere in the town are being investigated, Calderdale has been working with local businesses to encourage them to take part in a community toilets scheme. Lloyds Bank to close in January 2019, making Hebden Bridge a town without banks. Over the years, the HebWeb has reported the closure of Barclays in April 2018, NatWest following the 2015 flood and the Yorkshire Bank in August 2005.
