I saw in the Daily Mail today that a local vicar has called for the police to look into the theory of Jimmy Savile being in the area around Lindsay's death .He used to stay quite regularly at a caravan in the Cragg Vale area. Unless strong evidence surfaces that Jimmy Saville killed anybody, I don't think he was involved in Lindsay Rimer's disappearance.
I'm convinced that the police know who killed her but do not have enough evidence - to establish a verdict of guilt beyond reasonable doubt.
The killer made it impossible to obtain DNA and until forensic science comes up with another method, the killer will remain un-convicted. Time will tell.
