Japanese Knotweed

Today I saw Japanese Knotweed growing out of the river wall along Stubbing Holme Road - bottom of Cambridge Street. I've informed Calderdale Council by email but would hate anyone to pick it (it's in flower and quite pretty) and spread it any further.
