Has Ginnelgate (from 2010 - see HebWeb Forum thread from 2010) been resolved. I am looking at buying a property near St Johns Close and having looked at maps. Would only think about there if a short cut to town were available. Has the current owner restored the short cut?

The path was re-opened following negotiation with the landowner and is available for public use.
The claim to modify the definitive map and statement - the legal record of public rights of way - has yet to be formally determined. Unfortunately Calderdale Council has a significant backlog of similar claims awaiting investigation.
