Police helicopter in action

Does anyone know why the police helicopter was circling very noisily over Hebden for about half an hour last night (between about 22 45 and 23 15)? Were they just randomly looking for people growing weed in their attics with their thermal imaging camera?....or was there something more sinister going on?

Not sure why the emergency services were out on Friday but there were fire engines and police cars at the marina and at the canal entrance near the co-op at the same time as the helicopter on Friday.
