Hebden Royd may finally have a swimming pool

After decades of campaigns, it looks like a swimming pool may finally be built in our area, possibly by Christmas.

Member of the Swimming Pool Committee, John Frederiksen, told the HebWeb, "At the moment we are still a little short of the money needed, but hopefully we can close some of the gap with donations, before we have to get a bank loan."
