The pink balls of Hebden Bridge Cricket Club

To launch their new season with a swing Hebden Bridge Cricket Club are to use pink cricket balls at home matches.
The John Hartson Foundation - motto: Grab Life by the Balls-which supports research into testicular cancer is to benefit from match sponsorship.
Hebden's first match is this Saturday 18th against Fothergill at Salem Fields at 1.30 and with a new captain, improved ground and new balls they are looking forward to an exciting season.
At the gorgeous riverside ground, losing well struck sixes in the water is a constant problem which they hope the colour change will help.
