Thanks to the Fair for Youth Team for sending the HebWeb this news item

30th May is just around the corner and the Fair for Youth team is getting extremely excited to show off the biggest Fair For Youth yet!

Fair for Youth is an event organised by local young people for young people. It's a great day for the entire community and there is something for everyone so come down to Calder Holmes park on the 30th May, 12pm to 5pm and enjoy our fun filled day.

We have a wide range of up and coming local bands and artists all preforming throughout the day as well as an inflatable football pitch with a football tournament running throughout the day and a tennis coach teaching in the tennis courts for those who like to get sporty, Sumo Wrestling suits, a Bungee Run and a Gladiator Knock Down for the younger ones.

There will be a graffiti wall and paints to get creative with, a DJ tent and, new to this year, a Climbing Wall!

The Arts and Crafts tent is bigger and better than ever this year with loads more activities to choose from, including Tie Dye T-shirts, Friendship bracelet making, Henna tattoos, Face Painting, Mug Decorating, even Phone-case decorating and much much more. For the little jugglers we have an entire area dedicated to Circus Skills with a range of different ways to have fun.

This year, there will also be the urban market where young people will be selling their own homemade products such as jewelry and clothing. Competitions will be held throughout the day with prizes to be won so come down and win yourself a prize!

There are still many more activities to get involved with and some spaces for anyone that wants to be a part of Fair For Youth 2015. If you would like to run a workshop, get involved in the Arts Tent, have a stall at our Urban Market, run activity's for the little youths or just help out on the day please message us on our Facebook page or email us at fairforyouth@gmail.com, not forgetting the volunteers' goodie bag you will receive for helping on the day that includes a free lunch, a Fair For Youth crew T-shirt and more.

But most importantly, come down on the day and have fun!
