CND at 60

CND is 60 this year, and to mark the occasion, Calder Valley CND are doing a film showing of the 'March to Aldermaston'. 1958's Easter march to Aldermaston enjoys landmark status in the annals of peaceful protest. It filmed record is similarly recalled as a milestone for campaigning documentary. Narrated by Richard Burton.
There will be a few people in the valley who were there in person and one of our members, Alan South, will share a few stories of what it was like to be there.
We will also review our activities in the previous year and discuss plans for the coming months. All welcome.
