Trades ClubMega Mix at the Trades

Tuesday, 15 March 2011

Indie kids from along the valley will be making a pilgrimage to the Trades Club on Friday as DJ Campbell unveils his megamix of top dancefloor fillers from the last 30 years.

It's a guaranteed trip back in time to indie gods The Cure and The Smiths through to new kids on the block like Kings Of Leon via goth, grunge, britpop, electro and everything else you threw yourself around to back in the day.

The first MADM party of the year on Saturday promises some of the dirtiest thrashy electro break beating madness with Far Too Loud from Funkatech Records and Dusted Records' Leuce Rhythms. It's a packed bill as the headliners are joined by Howard Sessions, M.A.T.A, Chrystal Geoff, Matt Anonymous plus residents Key Lo & Dr Sicknote.

"Every time we put an indie gig on it is packed out so we thought it was time for an old school indie disco with all the hits from the last thirty years," says Trades Club spokesperson Paul Clarke.

"The MADAM nights have become one of our most popular nights because they book some of the best DJs in Europe and this is yet another top class bill."
