New Year Lunch for Twinning Society

Twenty-one members of the Hebden Bridge Twinning Society met at our New Year Lunch at the Aya Sophia on Sunday and a great time was had by all.
Most of us had last met at the AGM in November and we had lots to talk about.
During the meal we had the opportunity to discuss our programme for 2023. In March we plan to hold the quiz postponed from December, followed by a feedback meeting for members later in the month.
April and May are French themed, with hopefully an Apéro at the Blue Teapot in Mytholmroyd in April, and a Pétanque/ Boules event on an evening in May.
Warstein is not neglected, we will visiting our twin town between the 29th of September and the 3rd of October. This will be followed by a beer, sausage and band event in October/ November. Various other events will take place in the course of the year for which we are currently planning dates.
