Allotment Arts project launch

Thanks to support from Hebden Royd Town Council, Hebden Bridge Arts is delighted to launch its Allotment Arts projects, with a meeting for all interested allotment holders to come along and find out more, a week on Saturday, 4 March.

The meeting is at the Waterfront Hall, in the Town Hall, Hebden Bridge, and starts at 3.30pm.

Anyone with an allotment plot in Hebden Bridge or Mytholmroyd, can meet artists Alison Cooper, and Anna FC Smith & Helen C Mather, and hear about the two allotment arts projects planned and ask any questions.

At the end of the meeting if you want to get involved you can sign up to join a course of creative sessions to work with Alison or Anna & Helen make art for one of the Allotment Arts projects.

The art created will be installed on two of the six allotment sites from 14-16 July and shared with the public as part of the arts trail we're creating for the Open Space 70 weekend.

The allotments participating are Dodnaze (High Hurst), Birchcliffe, Redacre, Steepfields, Mayroyd and Banksfield. Find out more at www.hebdenbridgearts.co.uk/allotmentarts
