All That's Left of You and Q&A
Powerful Palestinian film All That's Left of You
and Q&A with Dr Kholoud Al-Ajarma
6th Hebden Bridge Film Festival: 20-22 March
The Hebden Bridge Film Festival is proud to announce a screening of the critically acclaimed and award-winning drama All That's Left of You on Sunday 22 March at 2:40pm (doors 2:10pm) at the Hebden Bridge Picture House, as part of its 2026 programme.

Directed by Cherien Dabis, the film premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival and has since won six international awards, including Best International Feature at the Sydney Film Festival. After a Palestinian teenager is swept up in a West Bank protest during the First Intifada, his mother recounts their family's story of hope, courage and relentless struggle.
Spanning three generations, from the violence of the 1948 Nakba to the near present of 2022, Dabis weaves complex character studies through decades of conflict, revealing love and hope as enduring acts of resistance. Widely praised for its emotional depth, the film resonates strongly with this year's festival theme 'Bearing Witness', honouring truth, memory and lived experience.
Dr Kholoud Al-Ajarma – lecturer at the University of Edinburgh, Palestinian refugee, anthropologist, award-winning photographer and filmmaker – will take part in a post-screening Q&A, offering audiences the opportunity to explore the film's themes in greater depth.
Film Festival Director Louise Wadley says, "We are delighted to announce All That's Left of You, the powerful and moving intergenerational family saga by Cherien Dabis, will be playing at this year's festival, co-presented by Halifax Friends of Palestine. We know there is a deep interest in this beautiful film, and we're thrilled that Dr Kholoud Al-Ajarma will join us for the Q&A, bringing valuable insight to the discussion."
This screening is expected to sell out, and early booking is strongly advised. Tickets for the March 22 screening of All That's Left of You are available to book here.
Full programme details are due to be announced on Friday 6 March 2026, at which point tickets for the remaining screenings will go on sale the Film Society's Ticket Source page.
