An exhibition of photographs,
paintings and stories

1 December 2025 to 11 January 2026
The Town Hall Cafe,
St. George's Street, Hebden Bridge.
Check venue for opening times.

This exhibition offers three different perspectives of the Calder Valley and its sense of place.

Terry Roberts grew up in Hebden Bridge and has experienced the decline and rebirth of the area. His photographs and paintings capture his love of landscapes and history.

Ron Pengelly's work aims to convey something of the amazing artistic talents and creativity he's photographed in recent years, that has been part of the valley's colourful story for centuries.

Neil Horsley's photo essays tell the stories of Calder Valley people who have renovated and given new lives to heritage buildings including a former postal sorting office, church, historic shop, chapel, canal barge, cinema and railway station.
