High Hirst Woodmeadow was established by Hebden Royd Town Council in 2020, after their declaration of a Climate Emergency in March 2019 and in response to the global loss of biodiversity. The project adapted a four-acre, council-owned site into a mixed habitat of woodland and meadows to support wildlife.
Whilst all events are free of charge, advance booking for the Ecology and Local History Walks is essential. Click the links to book.
